FLOWER COURSE CURRICULUM I
This is a basic course which lays the foundation for all other courses. It covers basic techniques and skills which will be needed for projects in the other levels.
You will learn how to roll and add texture to clay as well as drying methods. Additionally, basic flower arrangement and making simple figurines will also be covered in this course.
Different types of flowers such as Roses, Daisies, Daffodils, Plumeria, Hibiscus, Gardenia, Sunflower, Eucharis, Poppy, Anemone, Peony, Stephanotis, Orchid, small flowers and leaves will be covered in this Curriculum.
FLOWER COURSE CURRICULUM II
This is the continuation of Flower Course 1. We will cover in-depth skills and techniques to create more elaborate pieces. Corsages, boutonnieres, topiary, different types of vase arrangements, wreaths, and bouquets from round to cascading types will be taught.
Flowers like Hydrangea, Lilies, Calla Lilies which require more skill will also be covered in this course.
At the end of this course, you will complete Flower Course Curriculum II by creating a Theme project, a Tall Vase arrangement and some roses. These final projects will be used for application for you to become a certified DECO Instructor.
FLOWER COURSE CURRICULUM III
This is an instructor level course and is an extension of Flower Courses I & II. This course, though challenging will be very fulfilling and enriching.
More realistic looking flowers in different variations will be put together to create seasonal projects, wedding themes, advanced floral arrangements and other interesting projects.
Different types of Orchids, a variety of Roses, Pincushion, Plum, Iris, Magnolia, Tulips and more will also be taught in this course. Cake toppers, weaved baskets, lacy Easter eggs and whimsical expression pears will be additional treats at the end of this course.
